[WORKSHOP] An Introduction to Scenography by Petrina Dawn Tan
Scenography is one of the instruments that form the orchestra of theatre's several means of expression.
Participants will learn what scenography encompasses and why it is important. In this hour-long workshop, emphasis will be placed on the collaboration between set and lighting design.
About Petrina Dawn Tan
PETRINA DAWN TAN is graduating with a Masters in Collaborative Theatre Production & Design from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, U.K. this September.
She practises Scenography (Lighting & Set) and conceptualises a range of projects including theatre, circus, music festivals and installations with the element of audience participation.
She is a nominee for Best Lighting Design at the M1-The Straits Times Life Theatre Awards 2017 for her work Manifesto (The Necessary Stage & Drama Box). Her set and lighting design on Recalling Mother (Checkpoint Theatre) has toured internationally.
